On dire needs…

There is a dire need for healing; for closing up those gashing wounds and making peace with the scars they will leave behind.

There is a dire need for a different kind of pain; one that does not shock, one that is perhaps low, constant, but expected. Expected can be accepted.

There is a dire need for letting go; for freeing yourself from desire, and from your unwillingness to let go of that desire. Yes, you have the right to desire, but it’s time to let it go. It’s futile to keep the hope.

There is a dire need for despair, for it is only through hope that misery finds its way to your heart.

There is a dire need for un-care, for un-want, for un-forgiveness. Forgiveness is not your burden anymore; let those who inflict pain on you remain un-forgiven. They deserve nothing less. You deserve nothing less. You have the right to loathe.

There is a dire need for nonconformity, for un-abiding, for rebellion against the expected. Others deserve to suffer at the hands of their expectations of you. It is not their place to expect. It is also not yours, so there is a dire need to un-expect…

There is a dire need to shield yourself with apathy.

There is peace in apathy…

There is peace in apathy…
